Project Midnight is a conceptual architecture and landscape study for a biodynamic vineyard in Napa Valley, designed for an award-winning winemaker Paula Moulton — a pioneer of biodynamic wine in Northern California.
Envisioned as a space for wine, community, and a slower, more intentional way of living, the project reflects a vision of bringing together agriculture, culture, and shared experience.
The architecture is composed of barn-inspired volumes carefully placed within the landscape. The site unfolds as a sequence of spaces, each with its own character, connected by paths, views, and moments of pause.
Throughout the project, architecture responds to the land and the personal story of its owners, with an emphasis on local materials and construction.
Led by Katerina Kopytina in collaboration with architect Assja Baranova, guided by the vision of Paula Moulton.
